A lot to unpack from the 500 page annual #AI report from Stanford University.Too early thoughts: The biggest question I have is how we balance the massive investment in AI, and specifically generative AI ($191 Million to train Google Gemini Ultra alone) with growing ethical concerns and falling public opinion (over 50% of Americans view AI with more concern than excitement).The performance findings the report points out however - are impossible to ignore. 2024 is clearly the year we need to learn how to tame the beast - and create a structure to live in this AI-enabled world.More coming I'm sure as we continue to work our way through the report
