Job DescriptionThis position is based out of our Bloomington, Indiana office. The Lead Welcome Center Coordinator works Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM EST. The annual salary for this position is $42,000.00- $44,000.00. Are you a proactive, detail-oriented leader with a passion for ensuring exceptional guest experiences? Join the Indiana University Foundation (IUF) as the Team Lead for our Welcome Center, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing our Welcome Center operations.

In this role, you will provide oversight of the Welcome Center, ensuring its smooth functioning including greeting and engaging guests as they arrive at the IU Foundation, answering incoming phone calls, and providing customer service to employees and guests in the building. You will maintain and update policies and procedures, manage the master front desk coverage schedule for staff, and assist with security measures as needed. Exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively will be crucial as you interact with all levels of leadership at the IU Foundation’s Welcome Center.

QualificationsEducation/Experience:

• A high school diploma is required.
• Demonstrated ability to use current word processing, spreadsheet, and database software used by the department.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate in person effectively. Experience working in hospitality, events, or facilities functions is strongly preferred.
• Interpersonal skills and judgment suitable for exercising appropriate discretion and demeanor when dealing with employees, Board members, and members of the public.
• Effective communication skills for explaining processes, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to pull data from a variety of sources and make recommendations for operational enhancements.
• Must be able to exercise extremely good judgment in the handling of confidential information.
