Enzymatic antioxidant in chronic gastritis patients 26 Determination of Enzymatic Antioxidant in Iraqi Patients with Chronic Gastritis

Serum level of SOD was significantly higher in patients with chronic gastritis infected with H.pylori compared to controls, and significantly higher than in control groups, indicating that other factors involved in the response to oxidative stress are likely to be required for virulence.
